Sarah Gordon (originally from Melbourne) is currently living in Abu Dhabi, where she teaches First Aid and BLS part time while studying her Cert IV in Healthcare (Ambulance). Sarah was previously a Leading Medical Assistant in the Royal Navy for 6 years and is aiming to return to Australia next year to completed a paramedic/nursing double degree. Sarah is looking forward to the challenge of this trip and she sees this experience as an opportunity to make a positive difference.
Kevin Francois is a 22 year old from Perth; he works part time at the Crown Casino as a Roulette and Poker dealer as well as studying full time at Edith Cowan University. He loves to travel and traveling to Nepal will be his first time volunteering as well as experiencing the BPM way of life.
Kristel Vella is a 20 year old student from Perth, currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine. In addition to this, she also has completed her Diploma in Enrolled Nursing. In her spare time, Kristel loves to travel with every opportunity that arises, and is especially looking forward to this trip! Kristel is excited about being apart of the BPM team and is hoping to progress and learn new valuable skills throughout the trip.
Jack Pears is a graduate paramedical student from the University of Tasmania. Jack describes himself as a former rower turned wannabe runner, who is looking forward to joining the other September volunteers. Jack will be spending time in India prior to traveling to Nepal, and is spending his free time on the hunt for graduate jobs.
