Would you like to help the women of Kerasawara?

The Women’s Health Initiative Team, 2016.

Our amazing friends at Days for Girls Come Sew With Me have launched an inspirational project that will directly benefit the women of the Kerasawara community.

It an ambitious, but entirely reachable goal: to teach the women of Kerasawara how to make re-useable Female Sanitary Kits themselves and provide employment by helping them set up a small cottage industry.

If you’ve never heard of Days for Girls, then you’re missing out! They do amazing work making reusable, sustainable sanitary pad kits for women in need and they’ve been directly involved with Backpacker Medics for many years.

If you’d like to make a real difference, head on over to the project’s crowdfunding page and share a few dollars! You can find all the details here: https://chuffed.org/project/dfg-sew-nepal#

Of course, all the money raised goes towards helping the Kerasawara community!
