Help us reach our funding target!

Over the past few days the Backpacker Medics team has been in close contact with the Moonlight Foundation Nepal and has learnt the fantastic news that construction of the Moonlight Community Healthcare Centre in Kerausagawara village is in full swing!Image

In order to stay ahead of the oncoming monsoon season, all able-bodied villagers have put aside their farming duties and are working furiously on the completion of the main structure (…this is a HUGE commitment from a community who survive almost completely off the land!!).

We have also learnt that the registration of the Moonlight Community Healthcare Centre with the Nepali government as a fully-fledged medical outpost is almost 100% complete!

Needless to say, however, the project still requires some much-needed funding for completion. To date, we have raised just over half of our online funding goal and would love to reach our target in the coming months!

If you feel like you want to make a real, worthwhile contribution towards the lives of a whole community, then PLEASE follow the ‘DONATE’ link to our online crowd-funding site in the top right-hand corner of this page.**

Remember that every little bit goes a very, very long way towards significantly changing the lives of these beautiful people.

Please tell your friends, family and work colleagues, ‘Like’ & ‘Share’ us on Facebook and help us finish this wonderful project!
